Holiday Dallas Arboretum Family Photography

Family photos are the best excuse for cuddles. Even when your little’s are getting older and begin to think hugging is no longer cool, this is the time to embrace the love.

Its mid winter during this time, therefore, we have a lot of warm tones to play with during our Dallas Arboretum Family Photo session.

One thing I enjoy most about the Dallas Arboretum is that at any time of year its lush with nature. Where as a few of my favorite locations loose their leaves and winter takes the trees such as at Arbor Hills, I can always count on the Dallas Arboretum to deliver.

I do enjoy the winter solstice as the sun sets in a different point than during the Summer. It makes for unique images from this location year round.

These two siblings made for the BEST portraits. Full of laughter and smiles, they made this family photography session lively and energetic.

Alas, we end the evening watching the sunset and catching a few bubbles. A great way to wind down and burn that last bit on energy in the kids. Therefore, guaranteed sweet dreams.
