I like to begin family photos with your average family holiday card pose. This ensures we get that image and then the rest of the session is all about the love.

I really want a family to show their true colors and personality. The sweet little giggles and silly expressions. Those are the moments that make your family so unique and special.

When the Fall weather comes around, outdoors is ideal for your family portrait session. I allows everyone to relax and room to play. I love to play games and make silly jokes to get the kids real smiles.

During your outdoor family photos, I always take time to make sure each child has a portrait all their own. Capturing their little self in that moment is truly special.

Of course a snuggle puddle is always needed for Dad.

Memorable Maternity Photos Dallas TX- Prairie Creek Park Richardson TX

These girls are the sweetest.  This happens to be a very chilly day as mom has a due date we need to work around.  Therefore, we capture the moments as they arrive.  Both girls too this day by storm to create some precious maternity photos for their mom.

A dear friend of mind said that their are few surprises you will remember as you get older and one that will always stick is a gender surprise.  I just adore how this family will have such a fun time telling their new addition all the guessing games, stories and other what have yous that occur before they arrive.  Looking back on these maternity photos will be a fun tradition for their new little one.

So I have a fun story to share.  The youngest little miss I must have met in another life.  For the life of me I want to call her by another name.  Its wild considering I have known this sweet girls for years, yet my inner self wants to call her something entirely different.  Her mom and I joke about it all the time.  It makes for great laughs and great stories.

Although the day was chilly, these maternity photos dont show it one bit.  I cannot wait to meet this little one.  Keep an eye out for the soon to come Newborn Photography Session!

Twins Baby Photography – Dallas TX

I had the pleasure of capturing these beautiful twin girls before and after their arrival earth-side.  Just as their parents and older sister, they are the most relaxed babies ever.

As wondrous as a twins baby photography session can be, this day was pure bliss.  Not only were the twin baby girls happy as can be, but I had big sister to help me all the way.  She chose the perfect pair of headbands and wraps for her twin sisters baby photos.

One of my favorite parts of the day was the teamwork of mom and dad.  Dad’s have a way of parenting that is unique.  This dad happens to be so laid back, taking on twin baby life like a walk in the park.  As we set up for the net shot, these twin baby’s would relax over his shoulders and arms snoozing the day away.  The most adorable thing ever!

An amazing phenomenon I witness during every twins baby photography session is the connection the sibling have for one another.  They melt into one another when posed together.  A little hand in the others face does phase them at all.  They just relax with their sibling close by.  It’s beautiful.

As with shots together, I always give each newborn twin a time to shine on their own as well.  Although, I find them much happier when they are together.

Fall Family Photos – Family Photography Lakeside Park, Dallas TX

Those rich tones make for such lovely fall family portraits.  And, the little ones outfits are just too perfect!

The day was quite perfect for this fall family photo session at the beautiful Lakeside Park.  With the weather on our side, it made for some serious fun and tons of great grins!

For these Fall Family Photos, the focus was on the kids.  As parents know, they grow up too fast.  Therefore, we put the littles in the spotlight to capture these spectacular memories.

In the end we snuck a quick shot of mom and dad in.  I’m a strong believer in capturing family photos with YOU in the image.  Then we wrapped up with a trip to the mini bridge.  This is a fun little spot as there are about a million little fish that huddle just beneathe and make for a great portrait!

When the smiles keep coming and the giggles are going strong that is the best moment to capture. This session is a dream. So much love and happiness. Its impossible to scroll through without smiling.

This smooch for mom just melted my heart. It can be a challenge to capture all the babies at once. This image just makes my heart smile. This is definitely one of the Best Lake Highlands Family Photos to date.
